Facilities
The sports medicine facilities at Iowa State University are some of the finest in collegiate athletics. Nearly all of our seven on campus athletic training and sports medicine facilities have been recentlly constructed or renovated to include the latest in therapeutic modalities and injury rehabilitation equipment.
Cyclone Athletic Health Care Center
Cyclone Athletic Health Care Complex, built in 2012 and housed inside ISU Football's facility, is open to all ISU athletes. It is the location of the new HydroWorx Hydrotherapy system and is equipped with the newest treatment and thereputic exercise machines available. This ahtletic health care center is connected to the Bergstrom Indoor Practice Facility and Johnny Majors outdoor football fields.
Cyclone Sports Complex
The athletic training room at the CSC is the new home to Cyclone Women's Soccer, Softball and Men's and Women's Track & Field. Built in 2012, this athletic training room serves as a satellite facility for practice and game preparation for these sports.
Feldman Athletic Health Care Center
The Feldman Athletic Health Care Center (FAHCC) is located in the Jacobson Athletic Building at Jack Trice Stadium. Opened in the Fall of 1996, and renovated in 2013; the Feldman Athletic Health Care Center serves as the primary athletic training room for day to day operations and sports medicine needs of the women's soccer, women's tennis, softball and golf teams. The FAHCC is home to our SwimEx 700; a fantastic aquatic therapy pool that is used by all student-athletes at Iowa State.
Hilton Coliseum
Athletic Training Room
The Hilton Coliseum athletic training room is located on the lower level in the northeast corner of the building. It is the day to day home for Cyclone Women's Volleybayy and also serves as a game day home for Men's and Women's Basketball, wrestling, and women's gymnastic. This athletic training room was renovated after the floods of 2010 and now houses a PolarZone therapeutic cold spa.
Lied Recreation Center
Athletic Training Room
The athletic training room at the Lied Recreation Center was renovated and opened in the Fall of 2011. It is now the day to day home to Iowa State Wrestling and Men's & Women's Cross Country and Track & Field. Student-athletes have access to full rehabilitation equipment, cryotherapy via a PolarZone therapeutic cold spa and plethora of therapeutic modalities.
Sukup Basketball Complex
Athletic Training Room
The athletic training room at the Sukup Basketball Complex serves the men's and women’s basketball teams on a day to day basis. The facility includes PolarZone therapeutic cold & warm spas, state of the art modalities, rehabilitation area, offices for athletic training staff, and areas for pre-practice taping and preparation. This facitliy was constructed and opened in the fall of 2009.
Beyer Hall Athletic Training Room
The Beyer Hall athletic training room is located on the lower level of the facility. It serves as the main athletic training room for women's swimming & diving and women's gymnastics.
Forker Building Athletic Training Room
The Forker Building athletic training room is located on the lower level of the facility. This athletic training facility serves as a satellite facility that is used on an as needed basis when teams practice in the Forker building facility.
